Broken Down Man

So life chewed me,
Spit me to the sand
And a shoe landed
On my last breath
Taking me places
Walking into life
Spaces and scenes
I would never had seen
Was I not chewed
And spit to the sand.

Yes life has showed me
The backsides of things
Scents filled my life
A blend of nutrients
Arrange, re-arranged
By digestive systems
Put in place to sort life
Breakdown resources
Into useful and waist
Flushing down the rest

We walk down this roads
Bended by lies, promises
Taking us down to doom
A treasure hunt for poverty
Hopelessness, hidden in votes
Casted and burned into gas
Fueling the gravy trains,
Kept clean by flaws, rules
Drafted on our ignorance
Our right to be exploited

The world is round, they said
And made us walk even longer
To proof our ignorance right
That, maybe perhaps, hopefully
Life is a joke and we can’t get it
Our intellect is daily challenged
By our blind loyalty, their royalty
They dully collect, cash in, enjoy
On the account of the electoral,
The many crosses, come elections
