It is all in the numbers
The numbers we were raised with
Taught to add and to subtract

“Go out and multiply
Breed if you have to
Fill this earth with souls”

But we feared and waggled
Into the very hungry earth
We all fear to return to

Others feared, yet complied
And forged ahead, produced
Brought forth generations

What more can we fear
Than our failure of fear
