I met Keamogetsi joseph Molapong. in 2010 and
we worked together on an inter-cultural and international theater project
on poverty in the so-called
3rd world.. And
although my English is not the best, I felt the poetry and the power in his
words and in his nature. He filled the stage with an incredible presence
and he captured his audience with a fascinating game between the message
and his messenger. Reading now his poems,in The Scars on my Skin, I am completely
convinced that he is an exceptional poet who does follow
his own path.
